"This relationship just sucks you right in. The constant back-and-forth is tiring, but you can’t help but root for them throughout the entirety of the book. The mind games, testing, anger, violence… it’s so sad to hear of some of the events these two endure. Some of the toxicity hits a little close to home at times, which is why I secretly keep rooting for a happy ending where they can put aside their stubbornness and learn to be what the other person needs, stability."
