"A fun take on protector. The only part I found confusing was the falling out because of what he had done when he was trapped into the sword. It actually made no sense to me why she would be mad. Weird. Other than that, this was a surprisingly good read for me! It's been on my booklist for a long time and I finally started it. Then was hooked and finished in 3 days. Lol. "

"This was a fun book. I laughed out loud multiple times. It was what I would consider a “Romantasy” which is not a genre I’m that fond of. I don’t like the romance genre as a whole, but I love T. Kingfisher and It was funny! Also I consumed it as an audiobook and I loved the narrator."
