"This book.... went to a very dark place. I do recommend it, because it took an interesting approach to space travel, duty, sacrifice, and the vagrancies of human nature. I feel though, that it didn't go far enough. The mission should have failed. Not just because it would have fit the themes better, but because the mission design was flawed to begin with. Two humans can't possibly found a viable space colony."
"Pardon my language, but this book was a mind f*ck. I was going into it with the thought that it was your typical gay enemies to lovers story…boy was I wrong. This book has made me question my entire existence and I can never look at life the same way again. It made me ask myself, “am I really even real?’. If you read this book, get ready for some eye-watering moments where you may even have to put the book down. I wish I could read this book for the first time."
"I was VERY CLOSE to giving it a five star, but I feel like the book nearing the end should’ve been longer. I kind of wanted to see them grow more with each other, but still a good book nonetheless. I can typically predict a lot of books, but this one had me surprised quite a few times. I would definitely recommend. "
"THIS BOOK IS SO GOOD. it’s kinda slow at the beginning tho but it picks up fast. I fully wasn’t expecting what was actually happening and it caught me totally off guard but I might be dumb tbh. This book made me emotional as **** at times and I was rlly rlly into it. Honestly it made me rlly think ab life and humanity a lot and I loved the relationships and the characters stories it was beautiful."
