"This book begins with the action right away and never leaves a full moment. Sage is the best unreliable narrator I have come across. I had such a hard time putting this book down and recommend to anyone who loves fast paced books. "

"The Good: - Good for falling asleep or reading something mindless or fun if you've been reading heavy content recently. - Though I saw the plot twist coming, and at first it kind of bothered me, it settled in nicely and made for a good sense of delivery of justice and satisfying ending. The Bad: - The character development was lacking. Only a couple of characters had anything substantial going for them and a couple of them I didn't even really remember their names or who they were until far into the book. - The non-linear timeline needed some work. There were times where it felt like the main character basically "lied" to reader about events to make it so that the author could reveal happened differently at a later point. And it was a frustrating experience that left plot holes/contradictions. - It's supposed to be a series, but it wrapped up so well at the end and was such a meaningless little story with no substance or good characters to care about that I didn't feel like reading the rest."

"Sorry. I read the book about 6 years ago so I don't remember any specific details I loved. I just loved how intelligent the main character was at times. Though I did find some of the fake out deaths to be a bit cheap. "
