"This is one of the books where I just knew Id love it based on the cover. And i was right it was soooo good and im excited to read the next one. My favorite character is Tavin. The little romance throughout it was cute too. (Sorta spoilers if it is then its just minor ones)And im ngl I hated Jasimir until near the end. He was just too stuck up but he did change. The magic system is really unique too. Totally different than all the other books ive read. I liked the idea of them being in categories of birds. I think it would be cool to have another story in this world to explain why crows don’t have a birthright unless it somehow gets explained in the next book."
"When you deliberately wander through pages and read nigh half your usual pace because you just can't bear for it to be over. Margaret Owen, you've jostled my heart and ensnared my mind with The Merciful Crow. 1. Keep the oath. 2. Burn the teeth. 3. Save the Prince. 4. Give them fire. #fantasy #adventure #heroine #magic "
"Their unique system and way of life is so cool and the sequel is even better!"
