"This was everything to me. The only word I can use to describe this book would be tender. I adored both of our MCs, they were interesting on their own and their dynamic together was just sooooooo heartwarming to see. I loved that Tommy had such a supportive family and that she was able to be herself with them. I also loved that queerness and lesbianism were things that our MC was not something she was entirely clueless about and that a few queer poets and authors are mentioned throughout, I thought that was a nice and refreshing little addition. I gotta say I didn’t really care about the subplot that much and whenever we would focus too much on it I would start to lose interest but overall this may be my favorite romance of the year."
