Grace CampbellMulan literally kicks butt. She dressed up as a man to save her father from going to war. Saved General Shang, and ALL OF CHINA. Literally so amazing how she did this all as a young lady in China during that time period. And besides we can't forget about Mushu, who is my spirit animal, and Cricket. Also Mulan's grandma at the end, hilarious.

AilaTheLunarticThis was considered a flop when it first came out 70ish years ago, but it is known as a classic movie now. I love the whimsical and comical feel to it and the animation just has the magic That animation now doesn’t have. The music is fantastic and I love how it’s such an old film, yet it’s still brilliant. It’s also such a clever and creative story that they managed to make a fantastical film. This is literally the one exception to the book is always better than the movie.

Nadine .First one that didnt need a prince and the ending maintained that, it didnt suprise a dude on her as some lesson or anything. It was less about get a man to give yourself value and more who you are and family struggle

Road MasterI love the legend of Atlantis. It's one of the few animated movies that isn't marketed toward girls. (Nothing wrong with that. It's just nice to have something a bit more for me on occasion.) The storyline is more complex than Disney usually gets. The characters are fantastic and nuanced in ways that Disney didn't usually get prior to this.

Road MasterOOH! MY FOOT! MY FOOT! MY ONLY FOOT!!
ChelseyThe most complex yet simple disney movies I’ve ever seen! There is no good or bad characters, everyone has done something wrong and the villain, though their is one main one, is actually multiple people. It also touches on racism in an entirely different way, where kids don’t entirely get it but adults do and the message is spread. I actually didn’t like this movie that much when I watched it the first time, but over time, I loved it more. It became more than just a kids disney movie, but a subtle way to state an important message. Loved it so much! 🐰🦊
IsabellaShes the only disney princess who has a job
AshI always found the idea of someone who discovers their destiny, denies it, and then eventually follows it and finds happiness doing so to be an interesting plot.
