Marshthis one is a rough watch (the jewish side of the holocaust), but if you have the time, patience (i got through it by playing the dvd at 1.5x speed, that helped a lot processing the information), and the hunger for knowledge, you'll get a lot out of it

EmilMosTo lighten things up a bit, but it’ll probably also give you more events you want to explore more thoroughly

Maril GirtonThis is about the one child policy that was implemented in China and it’s told from the perspective of someone who was able to have a sibling in china during that time. She also interviews a lot of people involved and or affected by the policy. Very interesting.

Marshwhat i didnt know before this documentary was that the cops grabbed hostages and bunkered down inside the bar! the riots went for DAYS. the film does a really good job of mapping out the area of christopher street and explaining that the cops were there because the mob was supposed to pay up for running a gay bar (any non-mob affiliated gay bars were crushed at the time by the mob, the homophobic public, and the cops). pinched between gaybashing, the jacked up prices at the mob bars, and the cop harassment, the clientele had enough.
