"Too spicy for me 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ I couldn’t finish it. The plot was intriguing but it was too much for me. Ugh I wanted to love it. "

""Because what's hidden, what's real, is always more interesting and important to me than appearances or performances."

Spoiler Alert is the best! I love the concept of this book, and it kept me invested the whole time. I like both characters, and appreciated the fat and dyslexic representation. I definitely want to check out more from Olivia Dade!"
"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5️⃣ Reading a lot of fanfics myself, this was totally right up my alley. I love how strong & secure April is in her body and her career, who loves to write fanfics for her favorite trope. Marcus is pure cinnamon roll, an actor who’s totally over the BS his character is going through on his show. He also secretly writes fanfics for said show, which I freaking adore. I adore their 🌶️🌶️🌶️ relationship and the little bump in the road they have to go through. The only thing that was hella unrealistic for me, was April’s willingness to just tell him her online name. I would never tell my friends, let alone a actor who’s character I write about. "
"I feel really bad for dnf’ing this book. I had been looking forward to it for a long time because I loved the premise. However, I prefer slow burn romances or enemy to lovers type romance. This is a romance where they establish a relationship right from the get go, and I got really bored. The main conflict was sort of a miscommunication one, which is my least favorite. There were way more sex scenes than I’d have liked and I ended up just feeling uncomfortable. Once I realized I no longer cared about the characters, I had to let it go and find a new book. I actually think a lot of people will enjoy this one, it just wasn’t my cup of tea."
