In this irresistible continuation of the New York Times bestselling Twilight Saga, a heartbroken and reckless Bella clings to the support of Jacob, while new threats of danger and vengeance test her and Edwards’s romance—and chances of survival. For Bella Swan, there is one thing more important than life itself: Edward Cullen. But being in love with a vampire is even more dangerous than Bella could ever have imagined. Edward has already rescued Bella from the clutches of one evil vampire, but now, as their daring relationship threatens all that is near and dear to them, they realize their troubles may be just beginning. Bella and Edward face a devastating separation, the mysterious appearance of dangerous wolves roaming the forest in Forks, a terrifying threat of revenge from a female vampire and a deliciously sinister encounter with Italy's reigning royal family of vampires, the Volturi. Passionate, riveting, and full of surprising twists and turns, this vampiric love story has reached literary immortality. “New Moon will more than feed the bloodthirsty hankerings of fans of the first volume and leave them breathless for the third” (School Library Journal)Praise for The Twilight Saga“This tale of tortured demon lovers entices”—Kirkus Reviews "In the tradition of Anne Rice. . . this dark romance is gripping." —Booklist (starred review) "The novel's danger-factor skyrockets as the excitement of secret love and hushed affection morphs into a terrifying race to stay alive." —School Library Journal (starred review)“Relish this new adventure and hunger for more”—Booklist A New York Times bestseller A New York Times "Editor's Choice" A Publishers Weekly Best Book of the YearAn Amazon best of #Booktok Book

"My first thought is that Jacob is so much less annoying in the book vs. the movie. Out of the whole series, this one is average. It's not the worst book, but it's not at the top either. "

"Honestly the movies were better than the books. The author is great about finding fun, new, interesting stories. But I found the dialogue to be a little flat and boring. "

"Promising, I love their friendship but I hate that Jake loves her so much. He deserves better. "

"Loved it! I'm falling head over heels in love with this series. I can't wait to read all of them, but at the same time, I don't want it to end!!"

"I'm biased when it comes to these books I absolutely love them all. Edward and bella are the ultimate couple but in a fictional world were everything's is righted. If I had lost someone though my soul mate. I would feel the same time flying by. People looking for the moment I get over it and come back to the real world. But when you feel something like that something so perfect you don't even think you deserve it what's the point. You'll never find that again. And if you did find something close it would just be a mockery of the first. The book really hit home for me. I love the writing and mind numbing sorrow."
