A Christmas Carol tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, an old miser who is visited by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come. After their visits Scrooge is transformed into a kinder, gentler man.

It's not so much a Christmas story as it is a story about looking back on who you've been and what's happened to you, reflecting on why you are the way you are, and considering the kind of person you'd like to be and the legacy you'd like to leave. A lovely read written in Dickens' meandering, conversational style. "
