Tom Sawyer is absolutely hilarious in this one as well. these characters are so distinct. so many writers struggle to write different voices and Tom and Huck are just so perfectly written"

There were a few chapters that dragged and if you've ever heard about it then that's all you need to know."

"If I had a dollar every time I read the N-word in this book I would be rich...<br/> As a senior in high school I had to read this book for school at first I didn't mind the N-word because I knew in the olden days that's what people called black people. But I found it distracting. Also, I know the author was trying to show the way these people spoke but even after I figured out what they were saying I had to go back and re-read a lot. I don't even like the storyline to be honest. It took me over a month to get through this book and I only read to chapter 33."
