The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn - Likewise Book Reviews
"so good! Huck is such an interesting character to study especially from a moral standpoint because he's debating with what he's been taught and what he feels is right. Tom Sawyer is absolutely hilarious in this one as well. these characters are so distinct. so many writers struggle to write different voices and Tom and Huck are just so perfectly written"
"I had to read this for my honors class and struggled to push myself through it. I wouldn't say it's a bad book, but a classic should be timeless through all ages. I don't think this book is. There were a few chapters that dragged and if you've ever heard about it then that's all you need to know."
"If I had a dollar every time I read the N-word in this book I would be rich...<br/> As a senior in high school I had to read this book for school at first I didn't mind the N-word because I knew in the olden days that's what people called black people. But I found it distracting. Also, I know the author was trying to show the way these people spoke but even after I figured out what they were saying I had to go back and re-read a lot. I don't even like the storyline to be honest. It took me over a month to get through this book and I only read to chapter 33."

"What can be said by me that hasn't been said by people much smarter than I am. Giving it four stars because of the ending."
