The Avengers - Likewise Book Reviews

"I love these original West Coast Avengers comics. These were published just around the time I started reading comics full force, so perhaps it's my nostalgia, but I thought the introduction of a west coast team for the Avengers was a great idea. Not only was it unusual for the time, but it brought Steve Englehart back to the Avengers. It was a great run, full of big ideas. It may seem somewhat simplistic today (partly because of Al Milgrom's pencils) but the stories are well told and a lot of fun."
