"I don't remember much, because I read this series as a teenager, but I remember that this was the most tragic book in the Olympus series."

"This book was chocked full of adventure! I really enjoyed this book overall. In this book the seven main Greek and Roman demigods have now joined forces in order to go on a quest and again save the world. They are trying to evade the Romans, who think they’ve been attacked by the Greeks. They are trying to outrun monsters sent by Gaia who have put a bounty on their heads. Gaia wants their blood so that she can be awakened. Honestly there are a lot of mini little quests in here that lead to the Big Bang at the end as well as leading us to the next books. In this book the main characters really learn who they are, have to learn to trust their fellow friends as they are thrown together on this important quest, and again have to use their skills and knowledge without the use of their godly parents.
The story continues to introduce not only old gods and monsters but new ones. It introduces famous people throughout mythology and gives their stories new life. Not only do you get to learn the main characters but you really gain an interest for mythology as a whole. I think this is one of the best books for me throughout the series. There is so much development for everyone and left me with a cliff hanger to where I want to jump into the next book. This is one big adventure and I feel like I’m directly into the sorry. There were no moments for me where it drug on or I felt like it wasn’t enough to hold me attention so I’m really excited to see where the next book takes the story!"

"It’s Rick Riordan. If you read the other books before this you have a general understanding of the quality, which is good. 3rd person urban mythological fantasy on a magic ship. What more can you ask for?"
