"“Hmm I think I want my fantasy to be grimdark….. How to do that… Oh I know! I will have all the women r*ped! Ooo and violently!! Perfect!!!!”<br/><br/>If “grimdark” is so important to you, literally just like try for 5 mins to think of something else. Looks like lack of creativity, smells like misogyny. <br/><br/>Unfortunately/fortunately, aside from that, mostly this is really good. Especially the prologue which honestly got my expectations too high. This went on for a long time and it was hard to keep track of all the characters, but I do think that once I got the feel it came together pretty well. <br/><br/>This is the best 2 star book ever. And I will be picking up the sequel for sure, but I will not be forgiving the lazy sexual violence."
