Scent of Darkness - Likewise Book Reviews
"What a load of ****.

First off the story is retarded. not the selling the soul to the devil thing. That was interesting... but the whole romance part of the story, which is 80% of it, was awful.

<spoiler>
Okay so when Ann see Jasha change to a wolf (actually she sees him turn from wolf to human) she runs like a frightened school girl. Completely understandable.

Then he catches her. He does have four legs to her two. Also completely understandable.

Then it gets weird and unpleasant. He begins to **** her with his fingers... without permission. But not only that, she suddenly gets over her fear enough to beg him to **** her... And even after they **** she's scared. Confused.

And it goes on... with this confusion. She/he will think something about the other and take it back two paragraphs later. And how they come to their conclusions about the other doesn't make any sense.

For example; at the end of the book she doesn't believe he loves her completely and utterly. then when she is being attacked and he comes to save her she suddenly realizes he does love her completely and utterly. Are you ******* kidding me? How does that prove that exactly? Its not like he goes against a platoon full of soldiers or something. No he fought a fellow wolf... that is the climax too... a horrible horrible horrible book to be sure."
