I didn't know his name or where he was from. All I knew was that the only place I'd ever felt safe was in his arms. But safety is an illusion. And not every savior is a hero.And-as I'd soon find out-having a king save your life comes with a price. Liam Black wanted something from me in return.

"ooh this one was so spicy! it was kinda fifty shades of grays but a less kinky? with some mafia vibes. also I really enjoyed that the female mc was feistier and did try to fight back a bit. all in all, a good, hot, quick read!"

"<strong>Different </strong><br/><br/>The majority of this book is banter but it’s witty and quirky and very rarely is boring. This is not a typical alpha male romance. The Heroine Tru is strong and opinionated while the Hero Liam is dark but he’s philosophical and kind. Definitely recommend."

"The first third is absolutely worth 5*. Character development is lovely, overall story inticing. Dialogs are sometimes really stupid.. really stupid.<br/><br/>And then everything happens all at once and the end ist just.. too much.<br/>I felt the start hinted at a little bit more story, maybe some backstory why Liam is so obsessed? But nothing? And I can't even start about the whole end. No. Just no. <br/><br/>I just wish I hadnt read the last 20% of the book."
