"The plot line seemed to move too fast and it seemed a lot of the plot was lost in the process. "

"ARE WE KIDDING?!?!? THIS WAS INSANE

THE ENDING?!?!?

i’m so so excited to read allegiant

i think it was interesting how separated tris and tobias were for this book. at first it was kinda upsetting but it definitely made it more interesting and more sweet when they came together in the end.

i’m so glad that christina was able to make up with tris. it totally made sense that she needed some time but i’m glad it ended up well

marlene and lynn"

"I really liked divergent but this book was terrible. Tris was this awesome badass female lead in book one but she was a shell of herself in this one with no character growth. The last book in the series was by far the worst too since the author switched up her whole writing style because she wanted to pull off a terrible twist ending. Don’t waste your time with this series. "

"I am happy that this novel met my expectations. The first book left a few undone items that this book was able to creatively explore. I found some of the action sequences and transitions between events to be rushed or implausible, but I expected this book to be about Tris struggling with PTSD and grief. The exploration of those themes was nuanced and I appreciated how that helped round out Tris’s character, even if I had to occasionally suspend my disbelief for the sake of engaging with the plot. "

"It was a good book I guess I. will say I got bored it wasn’t as good as the first book and for the first time I think the movie was just a tiny bit better then the book. I’m inclined to read the next book but I’m not dying to read it and I’m not excited to read it it’s more of I’ll read it if I find it. "
