"it felt a bit boring. i loved marlee’s and carter’s segment. however, aspen’s and lucy’s portion of the book felt a bit forced and rushed like aspen had to be in a relationship with someone so he wouldn’t be hung up on america, but at least make a better ship with more chemistry."

"I enjoyed these novellas and hearing the stories from the other minor characters and their points of view.

It helps to round out the main story and understand everything even more with these stories."

"This is basically a collection of short stories told from other perspectives during The Selection Series. The novella, The Queen, tells about Queen Amberly’s selection. My favorite was probably The Prince. Hearing Maxon’s perspective about the first time he met America was quite entertaining. I’d read a whole book from his point of view, honestly. My other favorite was - The Favorite, which is Marlee’s short story. This is a nice companion to The Selection series. I would read it in conjunction with or after reading the main series, but before The Heir and The Crown."
