"<strong>Heart wrenching second/third chance romance</strong><br/><br/>I don’t normally like second chance romances as the whole reason the couples splits is really ridiculous most of the time. Unfortunately for this couple I actually could understand what happened was the final nail in the coffin for their relationship. Chase has deep rooted self loathing stemming from being partially raised by a drug addict and then thrown into the foster system. These issues plague him his whole youth which eventually corrupt his relationship with Alina “Goldi”. Alina is the girl next door that has been perpetually in love with Chase and therefore swept things he’s done to her under the rug. But This can’t be swept under the rug and she finally done. Happenstance brings them back together and Chase isn’t messing up this chance. Love them but oh man there is lots of bittersweet moments."
"I didn’t like it, the guy was clearly not it from the beginning never even having really good moments to keep me reading while reading the book when he’s acting ****** and I just don’t understand why she even kept choosing him over obviously much better choices. Anyways overall I give it a 1/5."
