Scorched Grace - Likewise Book Reviews
"This book took a little while to introduce us to the main character, but man oh man if you get through the exposition it’s worth it! I loved this take on a newly reformed nun with tattoos and a terrible past, also love that she’s gay!!! Over all I liked this book a lot and will definitely read the next installment of the series once it’s out, which is literally in a couple of days!"
"This book is one that just made me smile so hard! I read a large chunk of it on the car ride up to an eclipse party my friends and I were having upstate! It needed a lot more pining because the tension between rosemary and Holliday is so palpable!!! And the fact that she’s from Bay Ridge makes me smile because that’s where my dad is from! Holliday is such a great example of an anti-hero/gritty protagonist. She is a former punk who grew up in south Brooklyn and had an entire life in the 33 years before she joined the sisters of the sublime blood. Also her banter between Riveau is so brilliant! I can’t wait until the next book "
