"A collection of short stories mostly set in Türkiye, each one very different from the next but all connected by a constant theme. Every story shows how people can be negatively affected by their surroundings, more often than not the political sidings in place. Despite all the negativity, I felt a desire from the characters to change things so the outcome of their story might go differently. My personal favorite was 'The Smuggler' and though my individual ratings of each story would vary, overall I still give the book 5/5 ⭐ And I definitely recommend this debut book from Kenan Orhan!"
