Incarceron is a prison so vast that it contains not only cells and corridors, but metal forests, dilapidated cities, and wilderness. It has been sealed for centuries, and only one man has ever escaped. Finn has always been a prisoner here. Although he has no memory of his childhood, he is sure he came from Outside. His link to the Outside, his chance to break free, is Claudia, the warden's daughter, herself determined to escape an arranged marriage. They are up against impossible odds, but one thing looms above all: Incarceron itself is alive . . .

"This book is so good! It's a sci-fi/dystopian/fantasy book with a really intriguing plot line, great characters, and an alternate world in the form of a huge, grueling, living, Prison. Definitely reccomend𝨌"

"This was a fun read and I truly did was not able to guess at many of the plot points. I don’t think I’ve ever read of a world within a world like this one. Unique and fun."

"phenomenal book with some of the most interesting worldbuilding I’ve seen in YA. I loved both deuteragonists, and the author managed to keep me interested in both of their stories so I wasn’t annoyed by cuts between perspectives. Claudia’s plot line inexplicably reminded my of Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper, (my favorite movie) which I see as an absolute win. Also there wasn’t a romance plot to speak of and as someone burnt out on romance, it was very refreshing to be free of it for once."

"I enjoyed the complex storyline. It was something new and the mystery of the prison kept me wondering what it truly was. It's one that isn't predictable and even has some realism to it. For example, the crims one of the main characters is grouped with kills someone the main character had promised to protect and the character - having watched that person die - has the weight of the death on their shoulders. Also, the other main character reveals some of the mental struggles of their upbringing. "
