"I was never a bad kid in school, or at least I was rarely punished, but after a squabble with the principal, I found myself stuck in detention for 8 hours straight. This book was tattered and torn, even missing its back cover, but it caught my eye thanks to its oddly intriguing front cover of a single flower. I had no idea what this book make me feel. I read it all in one go that day, and I was left sobbing. I love this book, it's short but well written and pretty poignant. "
