"Let's call this what it is: the fake dating trope of the 1920s. <br/><br/>Nick and Susy get married for the perks, only to "fall in love." However, if we follow that vein, they don't fall in love convincingly. I was more convinced they were in love in the flashbacks at the beginning from before they decided to get married! And you know who I felt bad for? Streff. You can't do a successful fake dating to true love story if I'm over here not wanting them together. I suppose the ending is ambiguous even if it shows their initial reconciliation, but I quite frankly wasn't rooting for them."
