"this book was really good. it was wonderfully written, had an amazing plot and character development, i just didn't feel like it was necessarily write for me and that is ok! i would recommend it. it was very sex-positive as several other reviews i've read said it was. i really liked how, towards the end, chase started to see that he didn't have to have others' validation or a relationship to be happy and secure in himself and i think that's something that's overlooked in so many mental health focused romance books. the reason i give it three stars is that, as an asexual person, i didn't feel engrossed in the story, which is not on the book at all and just comes down to personal preference. it is definitely worth the read!"
