"Elina gets on my nerves man 😀 she gave me pick-me vibes from the start, and it felt like she thought her life was harder than everyone else’s and always showed it. Also, I NEVER felt tension between her and MAL, if anything it was completely awkward to read. The Darkling deserved sm better too man."

The mythos of the Grishaverse interested me immensely. I'm so happy that there are other series that take place in the same universe."

"There is some mild swearing and suggested sex scenes, but not in too much detail. The third one has a few sexual scenes, but only in a small amount of detail and fades to black after they start. Otherwise it’s a very clean series, but a little on the dark side. (Lots of eye mutilation and death though) really good series! It’s also meant to be read before the Six Of Crows, which I didn’t realize until later on, and it would’ve helped with a lot of my confusion while reading Six of Crows 😹 "

"A bit of advice, if you haven't read this book series and are very interested in reading them. Please DO NOT watch the TV series remake of this book series "Shadow and Bone" on Netflix, the books are completely different from the TV show's storylines and the books are way better! Avoid watching the "Shadow and Bone" TV show until after you've read the Trilogy and "Six of Crows" Duology, because the show will deeply disappoint you. As the Netflix Shadow and Bone TV show's storyline will completely throw you off script from the books original storyline of all 5 books 📚 the show is poorly done and drops the ball in bringing the characters in the books to life. Like I said before, the books are a hundred percent better than the tv show. "
