"The whole series is great until you realize we don't have an ending yet"

"Hands down my favorite series! Addictive and engaging storylines, well crafted characters that I felt a connection to, and written in engrossing detail. I felt compelled to continue reading page after page, and book after book. The books offer so much more than the television series. I am anxiously awaiting the next book, titled The Winds of Winter!! "Finishing another Colleen Hoover book and will start Replay by Ken Grimwood (a story about a guy living and dying, and repeating it as he navigates this repeating time.) #timetravel "

"The death of Ned Stark set the tone for all the books. I read a lot and can predict most plots. The whole book had me guessing. I wish George R.R. Martin would complete the story but I guess he has other things that interest him more."

"Hmm to be honest I read them in a bundle and so they've all sort of blurred together.. I think the second/third? I really did not like the introduction of Cersi's POV but liked the added viewpoints that came before then."

"It's an emotionally taxing series, most of the characters are horrible people. It's pretty gritty, the people you root for make decisions that get them killed. The people that are awful get away with ****. It's heavy and it sucks that the series is never going to be finished. "

"I started these in the early 2000s and spent the next decade rereading them and trying to convince everyone I knew to read them as well. It was no surprise to me when the story became insanely popular once it was picked up by HBO. Sometimes he goes on a bit too long describing the feasts in every hall across Westeros, but it's still such a wonderful plot with amazing characters that I could reread for the rest of my life"
