"Okay, so despite knowing nothing about this book, the author made the plot twists so apparent from early on that I was able to connect the dots and both realize that it was based on sleeping beauty and determine exactly what the ending would be. However, in such a case, the read becomes more about the journey, and I’m delighted to say that it was quite enjoyable in spite of the twists carrying no weight. The heroine is flawed and makes choices that will have you silently willing her to open her eyes, but she is easy to root for and kind hearted. The hero is noble - sometimes too much so for his own good - but their journey is cute and the story is a unique retelling of the classic tale. Definitely recommend; a quick and fluffy read that still held an element of suspense."
