The Girl on the Train
A debut psychological thriller that will forever change the way you look at other people's lives.Rachel takes the same commuter train every morning. Every day she rattles down the track, flashes past a stretch of cozy suburban homes, and stops at the signal that allows her to daily watch the same couple breakfasting on their deck. She's even started to feel like she knows them. "Jess and Jason," she calls them. Their life—as she sees it—is perfect. Not unlike the life she recently lost. And then she sees something shocking. It's only a minute until the train moves on, but it's enough. Now everything's changed. Unable to keep it to herself, Rachel offers what she knows to the police, and becomes inextricably entwined in what happens next, as well as in the lives of everyone involved. Has she done more harm than good?Compulsively readable, The Girl on the Train is an emotionally immersive, Hitchcockian thriller and an electrifying debut.

"This book was so good, I read it a long time ago and totally forgot about it until now. I remember reading it and having trouble putting the book down because I wanted to see what happened and what the truth was. The movie was okay but nothing beats a good book! 10/10"

"It was an okay read. Somewhat entertaining, with mystery and whodunnit. I understood the point of the alcohol with main character but seemed a bit overdone. "

"Overall, I enjoyed the book. It's a quick read and twists and turns with the who did it. The middle was a tad dry and dragged on, but overall, a pretty good book."

"I didn't like it all that much. A 3.5 for me. I was so confused at the beginning and the ending isnt the greatest. It's a meh."

"It was hard for me to get into this book until about half way through. Even then when it finally picked up pace for me, I found the twists not shocking. In the end it was an okay read. It was one of those books that I feel would be a better movie than read. 3/5"
