Julia Quinn
The inspiration for season four of BRIDGERTON, a series created by Shondaland for Netflix, from #1 New York Times bestselling author Julia Quinn: the story of Benedict Bridgerton in the third of her beloved Regency-set novels featuring the charming, powerful Bridgerton family. BENEDICT'S STORY Sophie Beckett never dreamed she'd be able to sneak into Lady Bridgerton's famed masquerade ball--or that she would be spinning in the arms of her "Prince Charming"--the debonair and devastatingly handsome Benedict Bridgerton. But when the clock strikes midnight, Sophie's enchanting evening ends. Since that night Benedict has been able to think of nothing but the bewitching young woman, and he's sworn to find and wed his mystery miss. Yet will another unexpectedly steal his heart--and his chance for a fairy tale love?

"So far, my favorite Bridgerton book. Love the Cinderella retelling and Benedict is better then what people say about him. 8/10. "

"This one started out as “another Cinderella” type of story and those seem to get old to me. However, it picked up on its own path about a quarter way through. This ended up being my favorite in the series, so far. Very beautiful and suspenseful!! "

"I was hooked to the Bridgerton series after watching Season 1. So much so, that I continued on with reading Books 2, 3 and 4 of the Bridgerton series. I truly fell in love with Anthony's story (book 2) and Benedict's story (book 3).❤️📚
If interested in watching the Bridgerton TV series:
Heads up: Benedict's story (Book 3) will be skipped for now and not be aired as Bridgerton's Season 3. Instead it will be focused on Book 4, Colin and Penelope's story.
Going based on season 2: Anthony's story-
Since I had read the book first and had indeed fallen in love with all its gushing moments that were beautifully written in the book's original story. I couldn't overlook the fact that those gushing moments were missing in the final production of Bridgerton's Season 2. I was literally screaming at the TV, saying "it wasn't supposed to happen like that!" And "what!?!? no no no! They skipped all the good parts of the book!" My heart hurt just from watching the altered scenes unfold before my eyes, at an alarmingly rushed pace....like time was running out and all the good scenes didn't end up making the cut at the end of the day.💔
So I have prepared myself for when the time comes for Benedict's story to be aired, that the show might fall short in comparison to its counterpart (Book 3).🥺

"This is a weak 3-star rating. It's fine if you enjoy the Bridgerton series as a whole. Benedict is mostly a creep in the book, I think."

"My favorite book from the Bridgeton series, portraying the love story of Benedict Bridgeton. A spin off of a cinderella story, this book is very good full of twists and turns."
