"I have read this book multiple times, the first time was extremely memorable because it was in second grade and we did it as a class. I fell in love with that book every time we would read another chapter of it. That was probably on of the first fiction books that I remember truly enjoying as a child, I didn't understand why you would read something imagined up until I got older."
"Considering the fact that I’m reading this book as a full-fledge adult, I thought it was cute, funny and definitely quirky. My favorite parts were definitely the parts where a bit of dark humor and sarcasm were present, but of course, who doesn’t like the songs that the Oompa-Loompas sing after each child does something wrong? I hate to say that I watch both the movies first (die-hard fan of reading the books first) but so happy to report, that I loved the book just as much as the movies and that the movies followed strongly, in my opinion, the details of the book. I thought the illustrations were cute, and of course, so happy that Charlie came out the hero. Just wish I found a golden too."
