"A great fantasy story starring a stone cold woman starting to defrost. Every character has their own motivations and personality that doesn't revolve around anyone else - even the tagalong type kid and animal sidekick/mentor. And I couldnt believe how dense it was! No wasted space or unnecessary decompression here.
A unique thing is that you can probably count the amount of male characters on one hand, but it doesn't seem shoehorned or forced in. It's never even mentioned."

"Amazing, story-rich graphic novel with a gritty Lovecraftian undertone. Once I picked it up I couldn't set it down."

"Stunning artwork and although the story takes a minute to really set in I do believe it's worth a read for those interested in a beautiful, dark, character driven graphic novel (also female characters left right and center, which is really a bonus for me)."
