"Shamelessly giving this book a 4. Really uncomfortable reading about the SA turned consensual, and the lengthy graphic s*x scenes that could’ve reduced the book a couple hundred pages. On a better note, Addie and Zade really grew on me by the end of the book. Wondering to myself “Wtf did I just read”, while at the same time I am really anxious to read the next one."

"Where to begin. I am one who loves books with trigger warnings. To me this book was not worth the hype at all. I wanted to love this book. Instead it’s been a month of hell to get through this. When I hear dark romance I think of the absolute worst. It lacked everything. I wanted more ****, murder, blood, and everything else that triggers people. This was not it. It’s on the same rating as butcher and blackbird. A very slow and boring read. I personally loved Satan’s affair a lot more. I’m hoping Hunting Adeline is a lot more intense. I cannot handle another month of disappointment. "
