"This book was incredible! I listened to the audiobook version & I loved the performance by the narrator. The plot was twisty and had all of the feels. The ordeal experienced by one of the characters will haunt you! Read it slow. Soak up the details and be ready to sit on the edge of your seat. This was a nice find when I was desiring “some new & intriguing.” #lostcause #coldcase "

"I think I will always prefer a good British or American mystery, but as Nordic mysteries good, The Keeper of Lost Causes is the best I have read yet. Yes, it is graphic and hard to take at parts, but the secondary characters were amazing, and Carl grew on me, too."

"I was really disappointed in this book. The story did keep me reading to see what would happen, but the dialog was so bad I really struggled to get through it. Don't bother!"

"Cold case disgruntled detective with a Muslim sidekick. Super creepy villains, empathetic female victim held captive for 5 years, disabling car crashes, twisted torture all set in Copenhagen. It's apparently the first in a series. Excellent translation from Danish."

"Very much in the vein of "Scandinavian Noir", but with a little bit of sly humor. Excellent mystery with relatable characters. Looking forward to the rest of the series!"
