"This is one of my all time favorite book series. There are so many important morals that can be learned, especially for younger kids. One of the impressive things about this series is how it appeals to such a wide age range. I like how the author plays with the timeline between books and is able to connect them all like puzzle pieces. "

"reread ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve always liked how this book just ties the entire series up in a bow despite some books seeming to not go together at all before. It seems all so planned ahead of time and clever. The books is so conclusive, emotional, and satisfying."

"I found the ending very satisfying. I only wish I could've read a little bit more in this series. Overall though, I did love how everything came together. "

"Although this book was 3x the length of the others (3 books in one), it was just as intriguing. It also tied in the story lines from the previous 3 books and provided a resolution. Great series!"

"This backtracked to the first book and took a while to figure out where the story was going. I honestly felt like this book of the quartet wasn’t 100% imperative to the original story line. I think the first three books could have held up on their own. Lowry does a good job with the story as normal but not necessarily needed. "

"I'm glad this had a good ending but man that was a rough book to get through. also let's not ignore that fact that the original dystopian society was impregnating or at least designating 12 year olds to give birth?? like Claire was 14 when she gave birth and that's so immensely messed up. I read the first book of this series in elementary school! if I had continued on and read this book at 12?? in the back of my copy there was classroom discussion topics too! absolutely horrible I would not want a child to read this."

"So conclusive and satisfying, it's as close to the perfect ending as a person could want. This series is just a great reread and has inspired so many amazing authors in the genre that this is a must read."

"<strong>Good read</strong><br/><br/>The first 3 books end abruptly in the center of an event with no closure. I hate cliffhangers so I was hoping this last book brought it all together. It did well enough and presented a reasonable and happy ending. I will admit these books would have gotten much lower ratings if everything was just left hanging with no explanation."

"One star less than the previous three in the series just because I felt there were a lot of plot holes and a lot of things left unaddressed. However, it is still one of my favorite book series of all time."
