"I’m going to go ahead and make my review now. I still have a few hours of reading left. However, I find myself in a perfect place to write a review for this book here on the toilet. After the third book I was really looking forward to seeing what happens next in the adventure. But, we got a flash back. Nothing wrong with that. But, this look back at Roland’s story was long, confusing and slow. I had a very hard time following along, because it was boring. I cared nothing for the characters introduced, which didn’t help with following the story. Also, S. King can be extremely disgusting when describing sexual content in his books. I’m no alter boy myself, but his visual are a turn off. They added nothing to the story. Same with past books I’ve read with his description of people of color. He goes overboard and it adds zero to the story. I think I’m going to get off this Dark Tower train and find something new to read. When it’s good it’s enjoyable, but there’s been less excitement as of late. "
