"I am not someone who is a book snob. The only things that I'm interested in when reading is a good story that grips you from the start and keeps you interested till the end. Having said that this book was not interesting enough for me. The concept and the plot are quite imaginative and I give Tad Williams the credit for that but I just could not find myself wanting to read anymore or want to know what happens to the characters. The only character I found remotely interesting was Applecore beyond that I thought the main character was a whining cry baby. I didn't finish this book I reached page 240 and I think I will bookmark that and go back to that someday but for now I have other books from the library that are near due so I'll read those instead."
