"Today, September 2nd 2024, I finished this book. I honestly got to say that this was an amazing read; especially with James Patterson being the co-author. What an amazing read that kept me captivated throughout the whole book. Absolutely recommend this, especially in between reads. It was almost like a pallet cleanser; beautifullywritten. "

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Got the full cast audiobook from my library and to my surprise Dolly herself showed up as a primary narrator! She was great as was most of the cast. I recommend it for the narration alone 😁
The book itself was good but the mystery and suspense are very light. It reminded me a bit of Nora Roberts..if she wrote about Nashville and the music scene…which is not a bad thing (I’ve loved a lot of her stuff!) but I was expecting more suspense. Dolly’s signature humor and witticisms were sprinkled throughout which was fun!"

"Audio book is awesome! Loved Dolly Parton's portion of the narration. You could really feel her voice and input throughout the story. (Like how angry Annie Lee got whenever anyone called her little.)"

"Eh, this was so so for me. I'd probably give 3.5 stars if that was an option but definitely not 4. It was slow but then also rushed at the same time? Not what I was expecting when I chose to read the book, but not a terrible story. "

"Loved this book. Maybe bc I’m a HUGE Dolly fan but just something about this made me feel like I was the main character. Made me sink into the plot. Made me want to keep reading until the end. "

"This book was a fast paced story. I loved the main characters. It was a great look inside what it's like to be famous, from 2 different perspectives. I would love to see Dolly write another book. I would definitely read it."
