"I’m crying. Emotionally ruined at 9 in the morning. I would say it wasn’t a good start to the day if the book wasn’t so good. The art style does take a little time to get use to but still very good for the story. The panels flow well and there were a lot of dynamic characters. I got recommended this for Pride month but I feel like the rep was if you squint and read between the lines. Still, loved the characters and themes."

"I think I like the book even more than the movie. Which is saying something because I LOVE the movie. Also it is blatantly obvious that it’s written by the same person who wrote She-Ra lol."

"The story of me finally getting my hands on this book is a long one, but when I’d finally had I chance to read it, I kid you not, it became an instant favorite. I thought it would be a collection of short shenanigans of a villain and his shapeshifter sidekick, but it is SOOOO much more than that! On top of it, it got an AMAZING adaptation and I just— oh I love the story so much!!!!"

"Loved this story. I experienced multiple emotions while reading it, which is always a sign of a good book. Cried my eyes out at the end, but that's fine. I wish there was more to the story. It was a very enjoyable and whimsical read, and I highly recommend it!"
