"2.5/5⭐️? It took 2 months & 4 tries to finish this book. I was unbelievably bored the first half of it but kept trying because everyone had good things to say. So the first 1/2 was boring but the second 1/2 was really good. Rhodes was such a good man & made me tear up a few times. I’m 50/50 about this book because it took so long to get interesting but was so good when it finally did. "

However, this is an incredibly slow-burn story. There are a lot of monologues and scenes that I skimmed as it got a bit redundant and tedious.
