"Very interesting take on poverty in Britain and the UK. I’ve read a lot about this in the US so this was a new perspective for me. The author, who grew up in poverty, basically tells his story and how it changed him...with a very cool ending. What makes this book cool is that it’s written much like short essays as chapters. It doesn’t necessarily tell a linear story. Some chapters are incredibly insightful as to the world we live in today. "
