"The world of Araluen and its Rangers is so well constructed it feels like historical fiction. Will and Halt have a dynamic that is both funny, heartwarming, and intriguing. Always fun."

"The only reason I disliked the rangers apprentice series is because it was too slow for me. That’s all. I don’t mean to upset anyone by doing this lol"

"I definitely recommend this book. It takes about 3 to 4 chapters to get into it but once you do it's amazing. The characters (especially halt) are funny and witty and pretty darn relatable. However!! You need to read 1-4 then 7 6 and 5 as the author wrote it out of order (on accident of course 😉) I recommend the entire series to anyone who likes fantasy."

"When Will saves Halt and Crowley from the big beast in the ruins. I love any moment in the series where we really get to see Halt and Will's bond grow. "

"My first ever fully read series as a teenager. Got the books as they came out. Cannot recommend enough as a YA fantasy medieval series. Plenty of intrigue and character building as you go along."
