"This book took a little bit of time to get into, and the ending was predictable. The main character is a full figured girl that attracts a bachelor and has them both swooning before they even know much about one another. Though I know it's a spin on Cinderella, it wasn't my taste. I wasn't a fan of the reality show aspect of the book because it seemed to make the plot drag on more than it needed to "

"4.5⭐<br/><br/>I had such a good time reading If the Shoe Fits! The main character is plus size, and delightfully confident (I read another book last year with a plus size MC with internalized fatphobia and it was difficult at times). Anyway, I felt much better about If the Shoe Fits, and I really liked Cindy. I think this is the first time I've ever seen a Cinderella story in which the family mostly got along. It's definitely different. I loved the reality TV environment & the main characters' relationship. <br/><br/>I'm going to make a vague comment to avoid spoilers - the ending doesn't really stick the landing, and it was too rushed. I also have some questions about the way things worked out, but it's fine. <br/><br/>I loved this book, and I can't wait to see what happens in the next books in the series.<br/><br/>Content notes - main character experiences grief and fatphobia"

"This is one of the cutest novels I have ever read. I flipping loved it! Especially because it had a plus sized main character, but it didn't follow all of the cliches that most books have with plus sized characters. Instead of trying to make it all about weight and making it seem like it's "so incredible that a plus sized person can actually find love", it mostly focused on the fact that she is a person who falls in love and has her own passions who just happens to be bigger. I loved it."
