Ella Fields
A dark fae prince with a beastly secret. A faerie princess with a curiosity for things better left alone. A bond that will turn enemies to lovers. A love that might cost them their lives... I'd known exactly who he was-the Unseelie prince. But I hadn't known just what he was.I'd been fooled. The creature I'd formed a tentative friendship with in my family's dungeon was not the gentle, intriguing prince I'd thought him to be.He was a monster. A bloodthirsty beast. And I'd helped him escape my uncle's clutches. Such a betrayal called for severe consequences, and the price of releasing the biggest threat our kingdom had faced in hundreds of years was not one I would survive. But upon discovering my uncle's foiled plans for their prince, the Unseelie demanded vengeance, and an agreement was made. My savior and my doom returned, and this time, he wasn't leaving without me. Regardless of how I loathed him, the deceitful and dangerous male was my last hope. Yet when he looked at me, touched me, dared to love me, the beliefs I'd worn as armor began to melt. I couldn't let that happen. Though avoiding fate would prove impossible when the only way to save my life was to surrender it by marrying the monster who'd destroyed it.Kingdom of Villains is a complete standalone and is not connected to any other Ella Fields novel. No cliffhanger. It's a spicy enemies to lovers fantasy with a whirlwind, swoon-worthy romance.

"While not one of my favorites from Ella Fields it was a solid easy read. The author's emotional depth always knocks it out of the park for me. She can make me feel things from the first chapter. Still, I wanted more from this book, especially more world-building.
Colvin and Fia heated the story quite nicely. They also weren't innocent and perfect. Colvin's story really pulled at my heartstrings. I loved how his clothes were always a mess with food and tea stains. It made him even more charming and real. And his obsession with Fai had my heart racing. The **** was an A+++.
Oh, feral Fai. I loved her character as well. She was very relatable bringing all those wild animals home haha. The dynamic of their relationship was just beautiful. I even loved the jealousy. Even so, I needed all that effort for the character depth in the world building too. The plot fixed itself too neatly at the end and felt rushed as well. Like I have said before though Ella Fields is one of those authors that I will read anything they put out there."

"Really good standalone! It has all the good stuff: Fae, dragons, enemies to lovers, touch her & you die, family secrets, spiciness and HEA! "

"This is more of opposing sides to lovers than enemies to lovers, but it is still a dark fantasy romance that is steamy and teasing. The main characters experience a passionate connection as chaos unravels their every day lives, making them feel torn between their desires and how they should feel about their situations (as well as each other). I would have loved a sequel to this story filled with creatures, magic, and lustful yearning between two lovers. The level of deep need, craving, and affectionate aching between the lovers of the story is something I relish about the tale as it unfolds. "
