"This is the series of books about Hades and Persephone, but from Hades’ POV. I liked this book more than Touch of Darkness(Persephone POV) because Hades’ story is richer. Hades is not only coping with his feelings for Persephone and helping her access her power, but he’s also dealing with politics amongst the Gods. Fantastic so far. Moving on to the next book, Game of Retribution."

"I realize now in reading the book from Hades perspective that what bothered me about the series was Persephone and her POV. So childish. I was annoyed with HER, not the story or the series, the character. Because I really enjoyed this book and zipped right through it. I guess that leads me to believe the Hades x Persephone series was well written if I disliked the character so much. Grow the **** up Persephone. You don’t deserve Hades. "

"I had such a good time reading this. Read it in tandem with A Touch of Darkness and I’m really glad I did. Cannot wait to see more of Hades and his perspective in the rest of the series."

"If you didn’t like Persephone from ATOD you’ll enjoy this because at least you didn’t have to pointless battle of her thoughts. You get the drive and desire of the man we came for 🥲"

"I was not expecting it to actually be hades full perspective based around the series of A touch of Darkness! I absolutely loved seeing the background scenes behind hades while we fully see persephone’s, while it is supposed to reflect that series I think it repeats itself a little too much for me personally. Still 8/10 a good spice factor in the perspective of the darkness himself, love it❤️🔥"
