Sarah J. Maas
Sarah J. Maas's sexy, richly imagined series continues with the journey of Feyre's fiery sister, Nesta. Nesta Archeron has always been prickly-proud, swift to anger, and slow to forgive. And ever since being forced into the Cauldron and becoming High Fae against her will, she's struggled to find a place for herself within the strange, deadly world she inhabits. Worse, she can't seem to move past the horrors of the war with Hybern and all she lost in it.The one person who ignites her temper more than any other is Cassian, the battle-scarred warrior whose position in Rhysand and Feyre's Night Court keeps him constantly in Nesta's orbit. But her temper isn't the only thing Cassian ignites. The fire between them is undeniable, and only burns hotter as they are forced into close quarters with each other. Meanwhile, the treacherous human queens who returned to the Continent during the last war have forged a dangerous new alliance, threatening the fragile peace that has settled over the realms. And the key to halting them might very well rely on Cassian and Nesta facing their haunting pasts.Against the sweeping backdrop of a world seared by war and plagued with uncertainty, Nesta and Cassian battle monsters from within and without as they search for acceptance-and healing-in each other's arms.

"It's not a bad book for the series, but it is more of a spin-off or separate story. Maybe to show the direction of where the next book, that's in the works currently, is heading towards."

"Nesta’s character development is really interesting. I enjoyed this read and like the progression from Feyre to Nesta. I’m interested in what the next book(s) may reveal about Elain. "

"Is this the end of the series, or have I heard rumor of one more…..hope so, as I miss this series now that I’ve finished it!
Silver Flames surprised me, as it shifts focus to Nesta, Feyre’s older sister, who is one of the more interesting characters mostly because she’s so unaccountably mean and nasty, whether you’re friend or foe. Ongoing twists, intrigue and attacks from unexpected quarters. All in all, a good finish (for now) to the ACOTAR series!"

"I am emotionally wrecked after this series- in a good way.
Never have I ever blown through books so quickly and completely and irrevocably put aside adult responsibilities to finish them.
My heart misses the characters…. "

"Maas did a good job writing about how Nesta was dealing with depression and self loathing. Otherwise it was a weak plot. It was on the raunchy side of the south scale. Maas can usually get me to emote, opposite of Sanderson, who in my opinion is strong on plot-weak on characters."

"Book 5 ACATOR- I was shocked and extremely happy to learn this book was Cassian and Nesta’s perspective! It is 15 months after the war and Nesta is struggling with PTSD and the Night Court steps in to help bring her back from the brink. "

"I liked this one way better than the others. She is a better character than Feyra. "

"Oh man. This was SO long. It took me until maybe 200ish pages to get interested in it. I loved Cassian and his patience for Nesta. I also loved seeing Feyre & Rhys but there wasn’t really a plot. The last couple chapters were stressful and had me intrigued, but I was just bored. And I’m SO sad about this!! I loved the other books (maybe not the novella) but this just fell flat for me. I still love Sarah J Maas and I’m going to read her other books, but this disappointed me. I was happy to end this one."
