With unpredictable skills and a growing distrust in her birth parents, she is struggling to play the Core's game. But when opportunity arises in the form of a mysterious shapeshifter, Willow realizes there's more to her own evolution than meets the eye. She soon learns that keeping secrets is a key move, and the more dangerous they are, the greater her need to evolve into the powerful prodigy nature intended her to become. But those closest to her have their own secrets, and her status has made her an easy target for betrayal. "When I found out two of my favorite authors collaborated, I was giddy as a schoolgirl. I knew going in for my mind to be pushed passed my limits and be a total mind ****. That is precisely what happened, and I loved every minute of it. These ladies killed it!

Here is what to look forward to
Taboo
Dark
Twisted
Deprived
Craziness
Morals left at the door
Extremely well written
No idiota was left out

Giddy Up and get ready for a dark, wild ride. It's like the post-apocalyptic world meets the Greens and puts them on steroids.

Beverly is a sick young woman who needs more than her parents can give her. Not sure how to describe her parents besides plain selfish. Then there is Colby. I LOVE HIM!!!!

I sat here and read the book in one sitting and couldn't put the book down. Please take the trigger warnings seriously. Mimic is not your typical romance; it's a dark book loaded with a ton of black. That ending is a severe mind-boggle.

I hope to see more collaboration between the two authors.

"
