The Miseducation of Cameron Post - Likewise Book Reviews
"I’m an LGBTQ+ teen! I got this book for the incisiveness but stayed for the relatability and the content. I just... Every word, every situation, I related to Cameron because I WAS Cameron at one point. The book covers sexuality in a way I haven’t seen often and I don’t want to spoil anything but, especially if you are a queer youth, I encourage you to read this.. You won’t be disappointed."

"I feel the pace of this novel is best described as languorous and meandering. As such, it took me a rather long time to read, because I felt I had to keep pushing myself back to it. At 480 pages, The Miseducation of Cameron Post is rather lengthy for a young adult novel. It isn't written in the style of most young adult contemporary novels, either. It reminded me more of adult "literature" with its pacing, environment, reflection, events, symbolism, and lack of consistent action.

Overall, I really enjoyed the messages and the story that Cameron Post had to offer. I just would have preferred they had been delivered in a more succinct manner."

"All the better the second time around.

If you want a book about a queer character exploring themselves that isn’t necessarily romance, this is for you. The characters are wonderful, the scenario is realistic, and, in my opinion, the end is perfect. It is a bit slow, but if you can get past that, it’s wonderful."

"It’s definitely worth it so much more than the movie "
