"Rough times for the main character. I was really rooting for him the whole time. It reminded me of Winter’s Bone with just the struggles and sins of the father-type stuff. "
"Where All Light Tends To Go is a drug. A drug you can’t live without, with a consequence that haunts.

This book(my second from David) is a “joy” to read. It hooks like a drug, gives incredible highs and addictive draw like a drug. However, where a drug tends to only lead to an ultimate defeat, WALTTG leads to victory.

If you need a violent, gritty yet beautiful light in your life that only southern noir can seem to deliver, then go where all light tends to go and read this freakin book. You think you’ve got this book beat, but that high beckons you to take one more hit. You read and shoot and devour more and more. As pages turn, the high gets better and better.

Within the last 5 chapters this drug went from a 4 star to a 5.

Thank you, David Joy, I’m officially addicted.

The perfect drug"
